I’ve come across “Apps” in Tines but I’m not entirely sure how they differ from regular stories or when I’d want to use one versus just building a story. Can someone explain what Apps are, what makes them different, and the kinds of situations where they’re the right choice?
Hey there! If you’ve ever built a story or workflow and thought, “I want to show what I built here, how can I share this with my colleagues so they can interact with these results in ways that resonate?” Apps is your answer!
Apps are a customisable, interactive front end for your Tines workflows. They are comprised of UI surfaces, a React codebase, and one or more endpoints. Endpoints are what connects your App to the power of Tines workflows, how your App will send and receive data to/from your stories.
Publish an App to share with your team, and track its adoption with analytics.
Create custom experiences, with visuals
, specific charts, perhaps some animations, all powered by your Tines workflows, take Apps for a spin. Check out our docs on building Apps here.
